Macro-scale modeling of finite strain viscoplasticity in irradiated F/M steels: a continuum thermodynamic framework

چکیده

Abstract The European reduced activation ferritic/martensitic steel Eurofer97 in irradiated states displays significant nonlinear material behavior involving irradiation hardening, loss of strain and uniform elongation, as well irradiation-induced embrittlement. Nonlinear modeled on the continuum scale will help to estimate maximum operating range components beyond onset localized plastic flow. In this work, a thermodynamic framework for modeling irradiation-influenced deformation is established based defect density thermodynamically consistent finite formulation an existing viscoplastic model using Dual Variables concept presented. implemented ABAQUS allowing simulation tensile tests conducted unirradiated materials which shows model’s ability capture post-yield post-necking observed experiments up ductile failure.
